Colombia: People's Social Summit rejects U.S. terror in Caribbean

This month’s CELAC-EU Summit failed to produce a response to the ongoing U.S. terror strikes and extrajudicial killings in the Caribbean Sea and in the Pacific.

However, the peoples of the Caribbean and Latin America are raising their collective voice in opposition. Social movements, unions and peoples from around the region gathered in Colombia’s coastal city of Santa Marta at the same time that the CELAC-EU Heads of Government Summit was held.

Camila Escalante heard from participants of the Cumbre Social de los Pueblos de América Latina y el Caribe (the People’s Social Summit of Latin America and the Caribbean).
