As Venezuela’s National Assembly and regional elections approach on May 25, we are publishing this interview with Canadian author Arnold August.
Arnold was an observer of the July 28 presidential elections and participated in the World Festival of the Anti-Fascist International in Caracas, an international event which coincided with the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro for the 2025-2031 term.
Arnold links the January 25th swearing in of President Maduro to the elections this month, discussing the Bolivarian Revolution’s signature protagonist democracy as the safeguard of Venezuela’s innovative Bolivarian socialism. Watch the interview on YouTube.
